Siu Ling Martinez

Siu, Creative Design Consultant and Founder of Smartypants, Inc. has been at The Commons since August 2014.  We can tell by the sheer amount of work that Siu is engaged in everyday that she is a sought-after designer.  On a typical day, Siu is deep into her work, but she still manages to be accessible and engaged in all that is going on here at The Commons.  A friendly face and a breath of fresh air, we love what Siu recently had to say about our Uncommon Workplace:

"The Commons is more than just an office space, it is whatever you need it to be. That is the true beauty of it. It can be your peaceful creative sanctum or your ideas-sharing basecamp. It can be your intimate gathering place or your corporate event venue. Being in the creative field, I need my workplace to change with me on a daily basis. I have found just that here at The Commons, as well as whole team of like-minded people to share it with."

Our inCommons Group Members find The Commons a great meeting workplace!

Ann Rukavina, Owner of Ten Thousand Bottles, an endeavor conceptualized after my children left for college and I found the need to redirect my focus and passions. Ten Thousand Bottles is a handcrafted soy wax candle business using discarded wine, liquor and beer bottles. I uniquely pair wonderful essential oils with what I see on the original bottle label. I believe the art of putting together a product someone will enjoy for hours during a relaxing evening at home, a holiday, event or just to bring the light in is reason to make my product the very best, as well as reducing the impact on our environment. Custom orders are welcome. You may purchase one already made or create your own with a bottle you have. Gifts for a hostess, special birthdays, anniversaries, a special name, place, experience or just for You. Renewable soy wax in up-cycled bottles--share the light.
